Une oeuvre basée sur Les Aventures de Pinocchio de Carlo Collodi.
La plus charmante des idées qui se dégagent des Aventures de Pinocchio apparaït au début du livre. A l’intérieur du simple morceau de bois qui a, on ne sait trop comment, atteri dans l’atelier de Mastro Cherry, se fait entendre une “toute petite voix” qui se plaint de la douleur et rigole quand on la chatouille.
Mais d’où vient cette voix enfermée dans un bout de bois ?
Qui est ce farfadet, cet elfe espiègle et impertinent qui rôde dans les coulisses du monde ?
On ne sait pas. Une seule chose est sûre : Pinocchio vit et possède son propre psyché bien avant que Gepetto ne commence à le tailler et ne lui donne un nom…

The most delightful of the many beautiful ideas which entwine in the Adventures of Pinocchio, appears at the very beginning of the book. Inside the simple piece of firewood which has somehow found its way into Mastro Cherry’s workshop, lies a “wee, little voice”, which complains of pain and laughs when it’s tickled.
From which space does this voice closed inside the wood originate? Who is this sprite, this irreverent and cheeky elf who wanders behind the scenes of the world?
We don’t know. Only one thing is certain. Pinocchio lives and has his very own psyche even before Geppetto begins to carve him and gives him a name…
