Les guitares se mettent naturellement en boucle, tournent sur trois pattes, se reflètent et éclairent un math rock ludique, optimiste et plein de recoins. A défaut de renouveler un style, les Sleeping People de San Diego sortent un deuxième album scintillant et rare, à la croisée du Don Cab en formule trio - période What Burns Never Returns, quand Ian Williams était le meilleur - et de Rumah Sakit, ce qui n’est plus un hasard quand on découvre le nom du bassiste, Kenseth Thibideau, un grand type impressionnant à voir jouer live, qui rejoint un groupe différent tous les six mois si l’on en croi…
