Nukleuz top man, Pierre Pienaar presents the newest piece from his Melodia alias. A pseudonym that has been known for it’s more down-tempo, melodic and uplifting Trance than some of Pierre’s other guises, and which has previously received solid support from major names including Paul Van Dyk and Dave Pearce on BBC Radio 1.
Here, Phoenix proves Melodia’s status as a world-class producer with its euphoric electro vibe. Will Atkinson then takes on the remix by bringing the track up-tempo with a pumping beat and darker vibe, but keeping it linked with the same euphoric elements as Melodia’s original.
Melodia
As the head of Nukleuz’s Green Label, Namibian born Pierre Pienaar is widely recognised as a leading producer in the Trance scenes for both the work under his own name and through his aliases such P.H.A.T.T. for his more Hard Trance productions. Here Pierre moves away from his trademark main room big Trance sound in favour of his Melodia guise, slowing the tempo and mellowing the vibes, crafting and building tracks that flow effortlessly.
Will Atkinson
Will Atkinson in one of Trance most promising up and comers, with consistent radio support from the likes of Judge Jules on BBC Radio 1 and support from most of the scenes top names including Armin Van Buren and Anne Savage, Will’s is a name that has risen through the ranks throughout 2008 and will continue do so in 2009.

Previously known as the hard hitting German duo DuMonde aka JamX & De Leon, JamX and his partner were known as one of the most enduring and exciting Trance twosomes on the scene, for their 10 year career at the top. Renowned for their countless trance epics such as ‘Tomorrow’ and ‘God Music’ JamX & De Leon’s remix powers have also turned many records into instant floorfillers – just cast your mind back to records like CRW – I Feel Love and Alice DJ – Better Off Alone.
However, for 2008, JamX & De Leon have decided to go their separate ways and concentrate on a few of their own projects. The most prominent of which is JamX’s new single for Nukleuz, ‘Liebe’, which includes a remix package from the likes of Spinning Records new favourite, Nick Larson. A producer whose already received solid support from huge names including Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Sander van Doorn, John O’ Callaghan, Mac Zimms, Cosmic Gate, a.m.m, and Eddie Halliwell on BBC Radio 1. Other remixers giving their own take on this massive Trancer from JamX include, Nukleuz favourite, P.H.A.T.T and Dutch producer, Matt Pincer. Both of whom have gained solid support from the worlds top DJS including, Judge Jules, Paul Van Dyk, Michael Splint, Dave Pearce and many more. JamX also gets behind the buttons for his own D and T-Type remixes with Daniel Kay.
JamX
Jürgen Mutschall aka JamX began his DJing career playing across the genres from House, to Funk, Soul, R&B and Hip Hop. In 1990 he became a resident at Mega Club Centre EXTRA, in Koblenz, Germany and towards the mid nineties began focusing on his own musical career. After opening a record store, Vinyl Underground, he began organising parties in local the area, during which he met De Leon with whom he later teamed up with to form JamX & De Leon, aka Dumonde. At the end of 1997 they had released the single, ‘Tomorrow’, which had gone on to gain widespread support from both top name DJs and radio stations alike, bringing them to the attention of German Trance scene and on to remixing the likes of Push’s ‘Universal Nation’ and Love’s ‘Coming Down’. Founding the Chaos label and later creating their own respected label F8T, Jamx & De Leon partnership were now producing tracks instantly sought after on the club scene. For a Decade Dumonde were recognised as one of the foremost production and Dj duos on the trance scene, from production collaborations with artists such as Lange and gigs at Godskitchen, Gatecrasher, Velfarre and other major venues globally. They spent the last ten years at the top and now 2008 sees them go their separate ways.

The Head Of Nukleuz Trance is back with his own unique style that can be heard in clubs all over the globe. Following up on his recent successes P.H.A.T.T now presents Mass Destruction. A track that completely justifies the attention he’s received from the likes of Paul Van Dyk, Dave 202, Lost Witness and Dave Pearce - as dark, energetic and emotive as ever. `
As is always with P.H.A.T.T’s style, the track subtly builds up to create more and more energy as it unravels, revealing a build up made up of dark, resonating synths and vocal stabs, before finally unleashing its spine tingling riff and phatt basslines to develop the track into the powerful, energetic and downright banging dancefloor destroyer it becomes!
Space Raven (self proclaimed “N#1 French Hardtrance producer”) gets behind the buttons for the remix and presents a tougher, harder and Trancier mix, to create the energetic and emotive style of Dance that P.H.A.T.T and his tracks have become so renowned for.

- Dave Pearce (BBC Radio 1)
“I’m a big fan of Pierre’s material, be it the tougher end of hard-dance or the uplifting side of trance. He has a rare talent that always keep dancefloors packed and DJs excited” - Andy Whitby (Voted Best DJ & Best Resident @ Hard Dance Awards 2007)
Pierre Pienaar is a formibale young producer who has crashed onto the scene with his own inimitable brand of uplifing trance…ome to watch – Lost Witness
“Namibia’s best kept secret but not for long judging by the quality and huge acceptance of his productions & mixes! Totally transformed some of my songs into musical works of art!” – Stu Allan
“Pierre certainly has an ear for a killer riff, and this combined with the energetic dancefloor qualities and crisp production values in his tracks make his work a cut above the competition in hard trance.” - Simon Eve (DJMag)
“PHATT makes phat Trance tracks!” - Steve Hill
“Pierre is an exciting new producer who is making waves in the hard trance world, great to see a fresh face coming through” – Nick Sentience
“Pierre’s slamming releases always travel with me when I’m touring!!!” – Dave Joy
“Pierre has established himself as one of the leading hard trance producers of today. His notoriety is well deserved and he has a glittering career ahead of him.” – Lee Haslam (Tidy)
